You have been asked to pitch a
design idea for a state of the art “Smart House” for favorite celebrity. Begin
by researching what a smart house is, and what smart technologies are available
today to place in the home. Decide which technologies are best suited for your home
design and your celebrity’s needs and wants. Compile a picture and information
about each piece of technology for your presentation. Next, sketch a layout of
your “Smart House” design and label where each smart home technology will be in
each room. Put all the information together in a dynamic presentation to pitch
to your celebrity. The most creative and well put together pitch will get the
job of working with this celebrity on their dream home!
Grading Criteria: 100 Points
(20 points each)
£ Includes at least 10 pieces of smart technology for the home
£ Includes a picture and description for all pieces of technology
£ Includes a very well put together sketch of the home
£ Labels technology in each room of the home
£ Includes all of the above in a very creative and well put
together presentation that includes an introduction and conclusion.
